Vintage Miniature Painting, India Mogul, Shah Zafar, on Bone or Synthetic

Description

I bought this beautiful tiny painting in northern India in 1980. I've seen similar ones on paper, but this is a solid surface, making a cleaner line, I believe. The panel is bone or white synthetic. The painting is done with tiny brushes made of just a few hairs.
There is a curve in the panel. See photos. I have not tried to flatten it, so it is mounted in a shadow box.

The panel is 2 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches high
The shadow box is 9 3/4 inches wide x 9 3/4 inches high x 1 3/4 inches deep.
